Chillblast's Fusion Voodoo SLI is the only dual-GPU machine in our line up, and the advantage of two cards running in SLI is clear. The pair of GeForce GTX 660 Tis run circles around 3DMark 11.

At a full-HD 1080p resolution with high quality settings, the dual-GPU machine makes light work of Aliens vs. Predator, returning comfortably over 100 frames per second.

The amount of performance on offer is impressive, but it takes us back to an earlier point; if you're gaming at 1080p, two cards in SLI is arguably overkill. Dropping down to a single GeForce GTX 670 would save a few hundred quid, and you'd likely still return over 60 frames per second in most games.
