Benchmarks: Temperature

Keeping to a processor with a 95W maximum TDP does have an advantage; it doesn't run particularly hot and idles at a cool 27ºC. The Cogage Arrow heatsink is off to a good start.

Applying maximum load to the Intel CPU sees core temperature more than doubled, but after a good stint of the Prime95 stress test, the Cogage Arrow cooler manages to keep the 4.7GHz chip running below 62ºC.

The Corsair Carbide Series 300R chassis used by the 3XS Performance GTX comes equipped with only two fans as standard - a 140mm intake and a 120mm exhaust - but that's a combination that appears to be providing ample airflow for the GeForce GTX 680. Top-of-the-range GPU running at under 80ºC? Nice.
