MovieStyle doesn't scale as well as WinRAR as it only supports up to 4 cores and this is reflected in the results.
The performance advantage that the Scan 3XS X58 Core i7 system has over the Chillblast - around 33 per cent - can only be down to the architectural improvements and higher clock speed.

Not many image-editing applications are heavily multi-threaded, and Photoshop Album SE is no exception As a single-threaded test, any differences in performance are dictated primarily by clock-speed, hence the Scan system is only around 5 per cent faster then the Chillblast.
