After the initial batch of launch-day machines, it's a shame system integrators are now more reluctant to ship the Core i9-9900K at 5GHz across all cores. Erring on the side of caution, Scan settles for 4.9GHz with the Vengeance Hydro X, and the multi-threaded benchmark results provide an early feel for the benefits of such high-end cooling. There's not the slightest hint of throttling, and performance is both fast and consistent, exactly how we like it.
