PCMark Vantage simulates real-world usage scenarios, and in these tests the Pyro SE delivers outstanding results.
The drive is one of the quickest 120GB, 2.5in SSDs we've tested and manages to nudge ahead of Corsair's similar Force GT and Patriot's supposedly-quicker Wildfire. How could that be? The only logical explanation would be firmware - the Pyro SE was tested using the latest release at the time of writing (v3.3.2) and has clearly been fine-tuned to squeeze out every last ounce of performance.
