PCMark Vantage gives us the best summary of the RevoDrive Hybrid. At the top of the page, we can visibly see the cache working its magic between runs. Speeds are distinctly HDD-like the first time around, performance doubles the second time around, and by the third run, the cache is delivering SSD-like results.
The cache evidently works a treat, but it isn't a complete success story, as PCMark suggests that while performance improves dramatically in subsequent runs, the Hybrid solution - as expected - won't always deliver numbers comparable to a single, high-end SSD.
