We've said it before but it's worth repeating: when it comes to raw sequential throughput in a 2.5in SSD, nothing matches the SandForce SF-2281 controller.
A single 120GB Force Series GT is mighty quick, and putting two together on a pair of SATA 6Gbps connectors results in benchmark-setting sequential speeds of roughly 1GB/s. The ATTO results are seriously impressive, but how will the Force GT cope when tasked with incompressible data?
