Single-drive performance is on the low side in the SSD-thrashing test that is Iometer. Matters improve with two drives but fall far short of the 60,000 (and 80,000 burst) IOPS stated by ADATA. Underscoring the vagaries of testing, switching the test to 100 per cent writes - instead of 50/50 reads and writes - cranks up the 60GB drive's score to over 80,000 IOPS: yum, yum.
