AS SSD puts a lot of weight in its 4K, 64-thread tests, and a single 128GB m4 SSD's score of 223.4MB/s - combined with a sequential read speed of 412.8MB/s - is enough to help Crucial's second-gen drive achieve the quickest SATA read score to date.

Write performance is some way off the Vertex 3, though. Crucial's m4 is quick, but the high-end SandForce 2281 controller continues to offer the better mix of overall performance.
