The NASPT and File Copy Test benchmarks show that write performance could be better, but remember, the LinkStation Pro is comfortably cheaper than anything else in our graphs and it isn't a million miles behind.

Looking at it another way, we had no trouble streaming 1080p video from the LinkStation Pro to a PlayStation 3. For the average home user, the speed on offer should be plenty sufficient.
