Crucial PC2700 CL2.5

Ask anyone to think of a manufacturer or distributor of RAM and I bet that Crucial Technology would be in the top three of everyone's list. Amongst the most popular DDR SDRAM on the market at the moment is distributed by Crucial Technology. Crucial is a wholly owned subsidiary of Micron, one of the largest manufacturers of DDR memory in the world. Their customer support and quality of product have won them an enviable position in the retail DDR SDRAM world.

6ns modules are used in a double sided configuration. 16 x 16M (128-Mbit) chips in total. You can see both Micron and Crucial insignias on the RAM's labels. The label also spells out the speed and timings of the modules: PC2700 and 2.5-7-3-3 timings. With a CL of 2.5 clocks, we expect it to perform slightly slower than the TwinMOS module. Again, Crucial use the industry-standard 184-pin layout with a default voltage of 2.5v. Using chips that are half the density of the TwinMOS' also colours results.
