Benchmarks: PiFast, Cinebench, AIDA64
Our first two synthetic benchmarks show little benefit from 12GB of memory. Both the single-threaded PiFast and multi-threaded Cinebench benchmarks agree; memory speed and latencies play a bigger part than capacity.
AIDA64 provides similar results. All three memory configurations are closely matched and are separated slightly by their respective speeds. Stating the obvious, the 1,600MHz Corsair Vengeance kit performs better than the 1,333MHz Kingston, and the CL8 Dominator leads the pack.
