Notes

We have tested from the ground-up using a fresh, up-to-date Windows build that has been changed to 10 Pro. The storage drive on the Ryzen 9 3990X has also been upgraded to a 1TB Corsair MP600 NVMe SSD.

The purpose of the performance evaluation is to see what difference exists between a 64GB DDR4-3600 kit and this G.Skill across a range of benchmarks. One will sacrifice some speed, of course, and we'll find out just how much.

Anyone needing more than 64GB of RAM will be running specialised applications. For those folk, the performance deficit is neither here nor there - it's capacity that matters.
