Temperature and Noise

Decibel meters sometimes don't capture the true feel of noise. As it happens, we have an RM850 to hand, one featuring the older fan. With both Corsair supplies running at full tilt, the new RMx's ML fan does sound a little quieter. That's not the metric which it is judged against, we suppose, as the raison d'être is actually better longevity under prolonged load.
