It's important to look at low-load efficiency because that is the state in which most computers reside when idling.
Given the decent showing here and 40°C ambient rating, we wonder why Corsair chose not to go with a semi-passive mode. One reason may be that the RGB doesn't look as impressive without the fan-blades spinning.
