Brightness, Blacks and Contrast

Some lower-cost models tend to sacrifice brightness, but not the Gigabyte G32QC. 454 nits isn't enough for a convincing HDR experience, but it is plenty bright for regular SDR use. If you happen to be a nocturnal gamer, you'll be pleased to find that brightness can be reduced to as low as 50 nits.

Each type of panel technology comes with a list of pros and cons. VA's strong suit is deep blacks and good contrast, both of which are excellent on the G32QC. Solid performance on most fronts.
