Using the SATA interface sees ICH9R/ICH8R and SB600 sharing the honours.
Switching to USB2.0, though, and the SB600 shows its age - the ICH9R taking a 12% lead, and the ICH8R on the G965 further ahead still.
FireWire sees the VIA VT6307 controller of the Sapphire board besting the VIA VT6308P of the Foxconn G33M-S by a small margin.
