3DMark2001SE, UT2003, DOOM 3, Comanche 4

Graphics performance evaluation begins with the ubiquitous 3DMark2001SE run. Here, we find EPoX's nForce3 Ultra board around 100 marks slower than an ASUS K8T800 Pro. That's around the standard deviation for the test. A breakdown of the score can be found here. Over 100FPS average in every test is pretty good going.

Comanche 4 performance is also par for the S939 course, and significantly higher than the competition's.

Our low-detail benchmark puts a substantial onus on the subsystem to push out geometry. The test is hugely CPU-limited when run with a GeForce 6800 GT video card. Again, note how far in front an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ is over a 3.8GHz Pentium 4 570J.

Top of the tree; just.
