XviD, Raytracing, Kribi, USB 2.0
Media encoding is also very similar on AMD's S939 chipsets. Are you beginning to see a trend here?. Note just how much faster a Pentium 4 570J is. It should be, it's rather expensive.
KribiBench, for some inexpicable reason, seems to run best on VIA hardware. ATI's Bullhead and EPoX's 9NDA3+ fight for the electronic version of the wooden spoon.
A whole 0.06FPS separates our three S939 boards. I just thought I'd point that out.
USB 2.0 performance was excellent on EPoX's board. A 3.33GB folder that contained 2,659 files from our UT2003 benchmark was transferred over from a Western Digital 160JB drive housed in a USB 2.0 enclosure. The results were consistent during all three runs.
