It's hard to find a motherboard these days that isn't crammed full of energy-saving promises. All of the Z97 offerings on show do well to keep power draw down to reasonable levels at all times, yet while there's very little in it, MSI's Z97 Gaming 5 isn't quite as frugal as the competition.
