Gaming shenanigans begin with 3DMark 2001SE v330. Run at 1024x768x32
The above graph is quite correct; the DFI manages to take a single-point lead over the MAX3. For its score breakdown head here The MAX3's can be found here. The DFI mobo, when run with a 2.4GHz CPU, puts up a creditable 16725 mark score.
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is another extremely close benchmark for the top two. You could literally replace one for the other and not know the difference.
Comanche 4 creates a clean sweep for the DFI i865PE, albeit with minute leads over the MAX3. Another benchmark that benefits heavily from increases in CPU speed and memory efficiency.
