Benchmarks II

Just a little behind the pace set by the EPoX nForce2 Ultra 400 and a reasonable distance in front of the KT600. We must remember that the comparative KT600 was benchmarked using an immature BIOS. Its results may not be indicative of present performance.

Gaming and 3DMark 2001SE.

A detailed examination of the results shows that the DFI trails the EPoX in the bandwidth-intensive tests. We couldn't, however, tell the performance difference when watching this most commonly used benchmark. Bottom line here is that the DFI was able to loop 3DMark hour after hour with low latencies employed. Stability is paramount.

Time to get serious with Sam. SS2's Sierra De Chiapas demo is the backdrop to this lovely benchmark. Both anisotropic filtering and antialiasing are disabled.

Again, only benchmarks will be able to differentiate the nForce2 boards. The DFI Canterwood and 3.2GHz P4 reign supreme.

Comanche 4 now.

Another solid showing by the DFI. It's hot on the heels of the EPoX.
