Memory testing - single-threaded performance

The Yonah-powered MSI 945GT Speedster is up against some stiff competition. Memory bandwidth is a little low when compared to AMD Athlon 64 FX-57, FX-60, and Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 965 processors'.

Impressive performance-per-MHz results in a Pifast time that's faster than a 3.73GHz-clocked Pentium Extreme Edition. You can see why Conroe, Intel's upcoming replacement for the Pentium 4 line, is loosely based on Core Duo technology. It also happens to be officially called Core 2 Duo/Extreme, if you find that kind of info. interesting.
