Benchmarks II
Gaming, and 3DMark 2001SE. Run at the default resolution of 1024x768x32 with the ATi R9700 Pro set to quality levels (no aniso or AA, though).
Both i845PE chipset motherboards do well here, but they're comfortably beaten by the PC1066 RAMBUS offering from Gigabyte. Once again, we see the closeness of all the DDR chipsets. If you want to see a breakdown of the MSI's scores, head over here.
More of the same here. All platforms are doing well with the slight exception of the VIA P4X400. On to another system-taxing benchmark in Comanche 4. Run at 1024x768x32 with, as always, sound disabled.
A performance deviation of less than 10% covers top to bottom. No real poor performer here.
