Serious Sam 2, Aquamark

Serious Sam 2 first and we 'should' see generic performance from the BG7 given the 2 results so far and out experience in looking at P4 systems to date. Let's see if that theory holds up.

At the lowest resolution, the MSI with it's DDR333 memory takes home the victory since we aren't card limited and it's up to the CPU and memory subsystem to drive performance. With regards to the i845G boards and the BG7 in particular, it doesn't take home the win or come last, rather it's exactly the same performance wise as the other two.

It doesn't make for exciting commentary on the results but it highlights just how much features and price should compete for your attention when you know performance is going to be so similar across the board.

Onto Aquamark!

Fancy that, identical performance to all the other i845G boards. Strong performance, generic or not, and you can be assured that paired with a similar graphics card and CPU to the test setup you'll have enough performance for any game on the market at the moment. Aquamark really hits hard on your system so 55fps at 1024x768 is good performance, even for such a relatively high spec.
