What you're looking at here is a de facto CPU comparison. Intel's chips are faster than AMD's when zipping through this benchmark.
And the multi-threaded results serve to display an obvious truth: Core i7 3930K, which is the cheaper Sandy Bridge-E chip, is, as you would expect, much faster than sub-£200 processors.
