IGP Gaming Tests I
We have chosen to look at integrated graphics performance with a twist. It is already known that Vega 11 graphics residing inside the Ryzen 5 2400G are faster than the UHD 630 present in the Core i3-8350K. Appreciating that fact, we have also run the AMD IGP tests with memory at three frequencies: 2,666MHz, 2.933MHz (default), and 3,200MHz, showing you the benefits, if any, of choosing faster RAM to serve as the IGP's framebuffer.
The results show that you gain about 10 per cent more performance by switching from the slowest to fastest memory, which is handy when the frame rate is a tad sticky.
