Memory Tests
Remember that 648FX has a single-channel memory controller. That means no dual-channel goodness to feed the 3.2 Extreme Edition. It's the Area51-m's biggest platform failing, the DDR400 and decent timings being driven by 648FX seeking to limit its effect on performance. Pifast first.![Pifast](http://img.hexus.net/v2/laptops/alienware/area51-mextreme/images/pifast.png)
If the graph seems strange, here's why.

Eek, it takes more than twice as long as the AMD platforms to go out to main memory. A single-channel memory controller won't help feed the P4 once the transfer has started, here's confirmation.

It's supremely efficient (91%) but the lack of another channel will definitely hurt performance. CPU biased performance next.
