Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise
The Vortex GT's performance potential is thanks in part to the dual-fan cooling solution. Neither the CPU nor GPU exhibited any instances of throttling, as both were able to run at peak speeds throughout our benchmarks.
Temperatures aren't a cause for concern, and though the chassis can get warm to the touch, it doesn't become uncomfortably hot. Unfortunately, the cooling performance does come at a cost, as the two fans are noisy during use and the speed curve isn't exactly subtle. Simple tasks such as plugging-in USB pen drives are enough to cause the fans to ramp up in speed, resulting in noise jumping from a barely-audible 32dB when idle to a bothersome 44dB under load.
