ASUS V6-V Spec and Extras

Specs

Device Manager concurs with the spec on the side of the box.

Extras

In the box for the V6-V you'll find the usual stuff like charger, reload and software CDs. What was unexpected but cool to discover was the slip-on pouch that gives you something to protect the notebook with if you're not using a proper bag. It's got solid spines down the left and right sides, keeping it snug, and it's easy to grip with one hand when wrapped around the V6-V, if you want to carry it like that.

Bag

Software runs to Norton Internet Security, some connectivity software for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and Windows XP Professional. It comes out-of-the-box with a single Administrator-class account, which pretty much sucks, but then again I haven't seen any vendor ship a PC product with LUA for the first logged-on user and instructions on how to use a Windows PC in that fashion. Ah well.
