The Dell XPS and Toshiba A300D laptops both feature discrete graphics cards and thus trounce the IGP-based notebooks in the Quake 4 test.

Novatech's X4500MHD graphics performance is soundly beaten by the AMD Puma pair in the Toshiba and HP machines, and an average frame-rate of 17fps makes Quake 4 seem sticky when played at medium settings.

A 35WHr battery is shown up in the battery-life test. There's not enough mobile juice to play the entire DVD film from the optical drive, and you would need the 8-cell model, 65WHr, for that, which would match the Dell XPS's performance.
