Nvidia's decision to make 30-Series RTX Laptop GPUs available in a broad array of TDPs makes it almost impossible to gauge performance by model number alone.
Our own benchmarks reveal that the RTX 3070 in Lenovo's Legion 5 Pro is in some titles more than a match for the RTX 3080 in an Asus Zephyrus Duo. If that wasn't confusing enough, framerates can be bolstered further by switching to the performance profile. At its 140W best, the Legion 5 Pro averaged 91.1fps in Dirt 5 and 150fps in F1 2020.
