Yep, performance is right up there. Legion 5 Pro feels fast irrespective of workload, and considering the available firepower, a Time Spy Stress Test score of 98.7 per cent is another nod to excellent frequency stability.

Modern laptops run so close to predefined power limits that it is interesting to observe what happens when toggling between a manufacturer's preset profiles. When set to the default balanced profile, our logs reveal the Legion 5 Pro's RTX 3070 operating at ~115W during real-world use. Switching to performance puts the GPU into full-fat 140W territory, resulting in greater fan noise and a chart-topping 3DMark Time Spy score of 10,455.
