The first test uses multi-threaded WinRAR to compress 205MB worth of files. Intel Centrino 2's CPU grunt put its firmly ahead here.

The HEXUS USB test moves our Company of Heroes installation files from a Corsair 8GB stick to the primary hard drive.
The figures are consistent enough from run to run. The trio of laptops produce reasonably similar times for the transfer, as you can clearly see.
