Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise
The 2020 Aero 17 HDR runs slightly warmer than last year's model, but temperatures are kept at comfortable levels. The 17.3in chassis doesn't become overly warm under duress, which suggests there's room for the CPU and GPU to be pushed a little further.
Slightly warmer, and slightly noisier, too. How users react to noise output will vary, but with so many of our modern computing devices running in near silence, we now find high-performance laptops such as this surprisingly rambunctious. You can hear the fans at all times, and with AI enabled, noise output increases to just over 50dB, which is quite off-putting.
