It is advantage Intel in the memory stakes. 10nm Ice Lake supports low-power DDR4X, and the 3,733MHz setup of the Core i7 machine delivers far greater bandwidth than the 2,400MHz configuration available to the Ryzen 7. Great for the benchmarks, but does the increase in bandwidth result in a marked improvement during regular workloads? Probably not.
