The eight-core, 16-thread Intel Core i9-9980HK may command a significant premium, but those who crave maximum performance will consider it a small price to pay. A headline speed of 5GHz allows the Aero 17 HDR to climb to the top of the PiFast chart, and those extra two cores prove their worth in the multi-threaded Cinebench and HandBrake tests.
