Core i7-9750H is a prime pick from Intel's 9th Gen stable, and Gigabyte is managing to extract a good amount of performance from the six-core chip. We do inevitably experience some degree of throttling - our logs show the chip scaling back to 3.3GHz across all cores during the demanding Handbrake test - but Aero 15 Classic climbs straight to the top of the charts regardless.

How about that newfangled AI? Well, we are starting to see results. With the tech switched to AI Azure Download and Upload, the laptop would recognise when Cinebench was launched and react with a sudden burst of high fan speed. The extra cooling and, we presume, optimised power delivery to the CPU, resulted in the Cinebench score climbing slightly from 1,261 to 1,289. PiFast and HandBrake, on the other hand, showed no meaningful increase.
