Thin laptops are in vogue, however is there a case for thicker gaming laptops that run cool without making a lot of noise? PC Specialist's svelte Recoil III GTX manages to keep temperatures in check, but doing so requires a combination of throttling and loud fan speeds; neither is ideal, so while performance is fast, thermals remain problematic.
