Let me explain the above graph. The first two resolutions are used in all our graphics card reviews. The second-highest, 1680x1050, is the wide-aspect ratio used on the Rock Xtreme Ti as standard. It's also the setting a number of widescreen laptops adopt. The highest setting pertains to the Dell Inpsiron XPS Gen 2. 1920x1200 in all its lushness. Now look back at the graph and note the startling similarity between the Dell's GeForce Go 6800 Ultra mobile GPU and a desktop GeForce 6800 GT. What the Go loses in rendering pipes and vertex shading (12 vs. 16, 5 vs. 6) it makes up for with a faster core clock and memory speeds (450/1100 vs. 350/1000).

Now the same set of tests with 4x AA and 8x AF added. The XPS Gen 2's graphics are marginally faster than a desktop GeForce 6800 GT 256MB card's and much faster than a RADEON X800's, which wasn't tested at the highest setting.
