Benchmarks: Gaming
We've run a handful of games and performance is excellent at a full-HD resolution, decent at QHD and limited at a native 4K UHD. Do Gigabyte's AI modes add anything of note? Not in these titles. All five were re-benched using the AI Edge and AI Cloud settings at the QHD resolution, and we recorded no meaningful difference in performance whatsoever.
Looking ahead at ray-tracing, we can confirm that the Aero 15 X9 scored 3,336 in the new 3DMark Port Royal test. That's a tad lower than our expectation of a desktop RTX 2060, and serves as another reminder that RTX 2070 Max-Q doesn't perform near the same level as its desktop namesake.
