Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise
Temperatures are kept well within their limits, but the numbers don't tell the full story. True, the CPU and GPU are kept reasonably cool under full load, but in doing so the fans become noticably vocal. The laptop can almost always be heard and when the going gets tough fan noise can be quite distracting. It's also worth pointing out a potential hot spot - the area around the 7, 8 and 9 keys gets quite warm during intensive use, so much so that it'll keep your hands toasty on a cold winter's day.
