What makes the Surface Pro display stand out from the crowd is that it is just so very bright. Black levels are decent, contrast is excellent, and so too are viewing angles. This should be the best sub-13in touchscreen available on a Windows PC, but the backlight bleed on our review sample is noticeable enough to be distracting during certain scenes.
