No surprises here, folks. MSI equips the GT72VR with an 83Wh battery that doesn't take long to deplete. When playing back high-definition video with airplane mode enabled and screen brightness set to 50 per cent, the laptop managed to keep going for roughly three-and-a-half hours. Mediocre by today's standards, and given that the 17.3in beastie is destined to be plugged-in a lot of the time, we're starting to wonder if the internal battery is merely a token gesture. Heck, would you actually miss it on a system of this ilk?
