Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 requires no introduction, so I won't give it one. We'll be using our own custom HEXUS timedemo for the first time here, recorded while playing through one of the more hectic moments on one of the prison levels. All settings were on high for benchmarking, with water reflections set to 'Reflect All'.
Half-Life 2

Core clock speed seems to be the big decider here without AA and AF, with the three boards largely staying in line with their core speed differences. Again, we see the MSI offering doing a good job of keeping pace with the X700 PRO.

Half-Life 2, 4xAA 8xAF

Half-Life 2 shows how video memory hungry it can be here, as performance is decimated beyond 1024x768 with 4x anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering on the two 128MB boards. The 256MB Radeon X700 Pro weathers the storm to offer reasonable performance throughout. The NX6600 may come in last here, but again gives a perfectly playable experience at 1024x768 here.
