Sims 2
The Sims is a game which simply took the world by storm, and its successor looks set to follow in those footsteps. We'll be using FRAPS to test its performance with the boards on show today, with all the graphical options turned on.
The three cards seem to be largely CPU limited at 1024x768, but as the resolution increases the two NVIDIA-based offerings pull away from the X700, with the NX6600 performing well across the board here.
The roles are reversed with AA and AF turned on, as the Radeon X700 PRO finds itself in front. The NX6600 lags behind here, but still offers very playable framerates even at 1280x1024 at these settings.
