Bundle and Manual

The board we received for review was not a boxed product, so obviously we can't look at the packaging for the board. However, we can still look at what you get in the bundle for your money.

The NX6600 comes with a couple of manuals, comprehensive cable giving all the connections should you need to utilise the VIVO functionality of the board, and a CD containing drivers and utilities. This driver disc features NVIDIA's ForceWare 66.74 drivers, as well as some 3D stereo drivers and video capture drivers. Also included are MSI's own little bundle of utilities.

In the games department, the NX6600 Diamond comes complete with a copy of 'The Chronicles of Riddick - Escape From Butcher Bay (Developer's Cut)' - A top quality and graphically intense title by all account. Its inclusion is most welcome.

The VIVO connector is basically a breakout cable to six different connectors - Two for S-Video in and out respectively, and the others for component in and out.

The two manuals consist of a multi-language quick install guide and a more detailed guide giving installation and usage instructions for both the hardware and software, covering both NVIDIA's drivers and MSI's own applications.
