It would be a stretch to call the GTX 1060 a prime choice for overclockers, yet there is a decent amount of headroom for users looking to eke out every last drop of performance. With no added voltage, the Asus card managed a 1,710MHz base clock and 1,938MHz boost, while memory ramped-up to an effective 9,268MHz.
These are early days, but the Asus overclock is the highest we've managed on any GTX 1060 and end users who are willing should have no trouble teasing an extra 10 per cent out of their cards.
