Far Cry performance
At 1280x1024 with 4x Anti-aliasing, both 8600 cards are able to edge out the older 7600GT. Increasing the resolution to 1600x1200 and disabling anti-aliasing, though, sees the situation reversed. But in each case, the 7900GS was head and shoulders ahead of anything else.
The AMD Radeon HD 2600 XT appears to have some driver issues with Far Cry and is unable to give a competitive score.
