The first new edition to our revised graphics card benchmarking suite is the lovely-looking Xpand Rally. We take in the first 2 minutes of a custom replay. FRAPS is used to gauge the average framerate. All game setings are turned to maximum. There's literally nothing to choose between MSI's RX700PRO and a reference 6600 GT card.
Adding in image enhancement shows a 6600 GT to be ahead until the highest-quality setting. It seems as if 128MB of onboard memory just isn't enough. The RX700PRO's ~20FPS average doesn't tell the whole story. According to FRAPS, the framerate dropped down to 8FPS on a particulary intensive section of the track. I'd only feel comfortable adding in 4x AA/8x AF at 1024x768.
